Columbus hiring own 911 mental health-crisis response workers after Netcare deal sours

Columbus police are no longing using clinicians from Netcare Access with the mobile crisis response teams that answer certain 911 calls for mental health crises. The Dispatch has learned disagreements between some supervisors at the nonprofit and police officers led to the change, and to city officials hiring their own mental health clinicians and social service personnel.
